I'm Laylah Hough, (aka nonsenseflower) and I enjoy drawing cute and haunted things.
I like to talk about my favourite artists and poets, as well as creative happenings in my home town of Luton.

I particularly enjoy drawing cute and/or haunted characters in a cartoon style.
My art is inspired by anime, manga, dolls, and art nouveau.
I typically use Photoshop or Krita for my digital work.
I enjoy using Canva to make my art into card designs.

Commissions

Commissions are open!
I'm currently offering simple paintings with either no/minimal BG. They will be created digitally, using Photoshop.
I’ve listed a few suggested commission types for guidance, but feel free to run any idea past me and I may be able to help you! (e.g. if you want me to replicate the style of another piece of my art.)Terms of Service
I reserve the right to turn down commissions.
Please note that I can take weeks to months on any single project.
I reserve the right to use the artwork for promotional purposes.
The base charge is for personal use only. Any commercial use requires an extra charge, and it must be discussed with and approved by me.
Please credit me whenever you use the artwork.
Do not use my artwork for NFTs, crypto, or AI.I will draw: original characters, fanart (for personal use only), and chibis.
I won't draw: hate speech, smut, heavy gore.

How to commission me
☆ You can now also pay for and order commissions directly on Ko-fi ☆Email me at [email protected] to tell me what kind of illustration you would like. Please give as much detail as you can about the character and pose you want, and send me references if you can!I’ll send a sketch to be approved ASAP. Let me know if changes are needed, or if I need to restart. Once a sketch is approved, I will continue working on your artwork.
Check in as much as you like. I'll show you my first draft of the artwork for approval. I am happy to make any changes needed and send over updated drafts for approval.Once the final artwork is approved, I will email the full resolution JPG and PNG files to you. I will send and invoice, which gives you the details needed to pay via Paypal or bank transfer. Payments are accepted in British Pounds (£) only.
